Marjorie Ann Copeland

Marge was predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years, Lyall, who passed away on August 25, 2023.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Alan (Lalainia), Monica, and Glen (Alexandra), and her grandchildren Morgan (James), Jack (Gina), and Jamie (Michael).

Marge was born in Coderre, Saskatchewan, she started her schooling in the village and completed her High School in Oak Lake, Manitoba. After college in Trail, British Columbia, Marge met Lyall and in October of 1958 the two got married. Marge was a doting stay at home mother until they were transferred to Ottawa in 1971. She worked for the Federal Government for 15 years where she rose to the position of the Administrative Assistant to the Deputy Minister of National Defense.

In 1989, Marge and Lyall moved back to B.C. and built their dream home in North Saanich to live out their retirement.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Sidney All Care Residence for their care and compassion.

Lyall and Marjorie’s internment will take place at the RCMP Cemetery in Regina at a later time.
