She was a homemaker for 62 years and loved her family and friends. She had a great sense of humor and always made anyone welcome into her home. She liked to entertain by cooking and baking for everyone. And what a great baker she was. She loved playing her "Teenie Geni" Organ and played by ear. We always had sing a longs at Christmas Time with everyone. Over the years she played for the Victoria Women's Softball Team and the Prince Rupert Ball Team, was a member of TOPS, and loved to fish at the Comox Marina on shore and had a very creative side for crafts.

Her family was so important to her and everyday was special for her especially her dogs she had over the years.

MARJORIE was a very caring, loving lady and will be sadly missed by all.

I had Marj and her husband as guests in my home, for 3 or 4 weeks c 1980, when I lived at Penrith NSW, Australia.
Our family endured a personal tragedy in 1981.
I was invited to visit their home on Vancouver Island early in 1982.
Marj and Don were wonderful people and assisted me greatly at my time of need.
What can I say about Marj?
A lovely, caring, lady with a great sense of humour .
I will never forget her and her kindness.
A beautiful special lady who made people welcome .
RIP Marj. Gone but never forgotten.

My condolences to my brother Don and his family.
I remember Marj for her good and sometimes goofy sense of humour. So many laughs.
She was extremely talented with all kinds of handicrafts. I enjoyed seeing some of them.
The Family Reunion Marj and Don put together years ago in Comox, B.C. was a big undertaking with tents, tables & chairs and lots of food with the BBQ. Ernie & I came from Saskatchewan and met new family members as well as those we hadn't seen in years. It was great fun and enjoyed by the many family members who could attend.
Marj is in a peaceful place now and I just know she will keep them smiling.
