Born in Nova Scotia, Marj and her husband, Norm, moved their young family to the West Coast in 1957, where they built a life filled with music, laughter, lasting friendships, and cherished memories.
Marj will be remembered for her kindness, unconditional love, selfless spirit, and the positive outlook she brought to every day. She had a remarkable gift for making people feel welcomed, cared for, and deeply loved. Family was the center of her world, and she gave of herself generously to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Marj is survived by her family, the greatest joy of her life, and the ones she held closest to her heart: her 2 sons Keith Watson (Luanne Marchand), Ross Watson (Bev); her 7 grandchildren, Tammy Watson (Brian Allen), Treska Watson, Carla Brosseau, Morgan Moreno (Sean), Ashley Harris (Chris), Breanne Donaldson (Sean), Ryan Watson (Rachel Buttress); her 13 great grandchildren, Kate and Avery Burgess, Leo Brosseau, Noah, Sam, Peyton and Heidi Moreno, Wyatt and Carter Harris, Barrett, Thatcher and Duke Donaldson, Jem Watson.
She is also survived by her sister in law Delores Watson; nieces, Pat Thornber, Joan Fish, Shelley Watson; nephews, David and Steve Watson who all loved Marj as much as she loved them.
While her absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled, Marj's legacy of love, kindness, family, and friendship will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
In keeping with Marj's wishes, no service will be held.
