I knew Pat through 15 years of working together.  In her professional life she was charismatic, a leader and a driven, innovative force. She also brought her innate sense of fun and vivacity to the job.  My favourite times shared with her were outside of work; sipping, dancing and telling tales at jazz shows. I knew her to be quick with an understanding word and help in anyone's time of need.  I'm grateful I got to know even a small part of her humour, sense of adventure, caring nature and youthful, playful, joyful heart.  My deeply felt condolences go out to her treasured family and many friends.  I miss you funny, wacky, lovely lady.

Pat and I met at UBC in the 1970s in the Political Science department. We also both worked at BC Tel in the Long Distance Directory Assistance division and shared many long graveyard shifts while we were perusing our degrees.  I love Pat. And her absence from the world is a source of deep personal sorrow and sadness.   She was a superlative friend. A loyal mom, a daughter , sister auntie and and maybe biggest on her list grandmother. The years she spent at Capital Iron were truly groundbreaking for working women and single mothers. The lady had class, intellect and a deep love for jazz, dancing, food and a good laugh. God I will miss you girl. Bless your family with deep heartfelt condolences at this time. 

I am feeling very sad to  hear the news of Pats passing.  I had the pleasure of working with her for a few years. What a hard working, giving, thoughtful and caring lady she was.
I will always be grateful to Pat for the gift of time and comfort she gave when my family experienced a tragic loss in 2016. Thank you Pat.

You will be missed very much by your family, friends and former co-workers.
