I am so very sorry for your loss of your Dad and Grandpa.  He spoke of you all often and was very proud.    Paul was so happy  to call his sons his friends.   Paul was a really great friend for many years and I will miss him dearly.  Paul was also a colleague and his humour, laugh, deep voice and smile was contagious when he ‘arrived’ in the office.  The photo is  such a great example of his humour and team member.    We were recreating the Cunard Poster for a contest and he showed up in his finest of course.  I was able to get the fancy hats from a neighbour and Yes we won the contest!  He shared his time and knowledge with me and many others.  He exchanged his skills with me and in return a coffee or wine and laughs.  We both had grandchildren the same age so lots to share.  Paul was the best storyteller and shared his love for travel and his younger days with me.  I am so grateful we shared some time near the end so I could say my goodbye and tell him how much he meant to me,  I will miss him a lot, love Sandy

As the day of Paul’s memorial service draws closer, I am still at a loss for words regarding his passing. I first met Paul when he arranged our first group Zumba cruise. Within the first days, when he arranged us newbies to cruising with a mini seminar and joining us on the cruise- it was apparent this fellow was someone very special. As a travel agent, I was impressed to say the least when he answered my email in the dead of night as I panicked that the power was out and the cruise was the next day. Ever so calm and confident, he reassured me and put my mind at ease. It was years later he confided that he was a brand new agent and that cruise was his first group cruise!  He was a natural!  A true inspiration with his zest for life and always eager to share his love of travel and his adventures. He will be sorely missed, a life cut way too short. My heartfelt condolences to his family and colleagues and friends alike. He will truly be missed.

I first met Paul when we joined the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth in 1968 and we became firm friends during our 4 years training and remained so over the many years thereafter, although we were often separated by many thousands of miles.  (I missed his marriage in Greenwich as I was in Singapore.)  Each time we did meet up it was as though no time had passed and we were able to carry on as before enjoying life and adventures, which included such things as arranging a lift to Bermuda in a warship for him: he slept in the cell, which he shared with some furniture he was taking to his Mum.  In later years I has lucky enough to join him on some of his many travels including a couple of jaunts around SE Asia, a trip round the Baltic and a stay in a dubious guest house in Kathmandu followed by an epic long distance trek in the Himalayas.
He will be sorely missed by his many friends worldwide and especially by his loving family.  My thoughts are with them at this sad time but my memories remain as ones of fun and laughter shared with a wonderful character and very good friend.  I just wish he had not gone quite so fast when giving me a lift in his Mustang.

I was so sorry to hear this news.  I worked with Paul a long time ago and we took a few training trips together.  We lost touch until I decided to take my first cruise and Paul was the first person I could think of that would help me, and he really did.  He helped with my first cruise and then two others.  I love chatting with him and I will miss our chats.  I have another cruise coming up and I am so sad that Paul is not here to chat with.  He had a full and happy life, he was a lucky man, a man missed by many.  My condolences to his family and friends.

We referred close friends to Paul, friends who immediately also became his steady clients.  And always a gentleman. . . .

Carol with great sadness I read of Paul's passing.  I send my heart fealt condolences to you and your family. I have very fond memories of Paul when we worked together. I’ll always remember Paul as being such a kind and generous person with a great sense of humour. I feel lucky to have known him. I wish I had taken the opportunity to renew our friendship when we met again in mid-December 2024. Wishing you strength and peace in the days ahead. Our deepest condolences to Paul's family at this very difficult time.  Paul was a good friend to many including his colleagues at the office.  He was intelligent, kind, well-spoken, generous with his knowledge and very quick-witted.  I always enjoyed his storytelling as he led a fascinating life full of adventure.  Paul spoke very proudly about his previous career as an officer in the Royal Navy.  A true British gentleman and he will be greatly missed by all that have had the pleasure to have known him. Paul helped me book my first cruise Sept 2022. 10 days California coast with my cousins, sister and daughter. He came along too,  first time meeting him and he booked my 2nd cruise Apr 2024. 4 days Seattle and Astoria. He was such a kind soul and great sense of humor. We enjoyed his company. My deepest condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

I am saddened by this news of Paul's passing.  

He helped me organize our first ocean cruise in 2023 with a voyage to Alaska.  I had always done my own travel planning but never for a cruise.   Paul helped me immensely with his knowledge and experience and the cruise was great.  We enjoyed it so much that I contacted him again last year to arrange a Caribbean  cruise for this spring.   

I will miss his knowledge and helpful assistance in the future.  My condolences to his family and friends.
