Paul Blair Cafferky

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our family patriarch Blair.

In passing, Blair joins his parents (Michael & Peggy), brothers (Emmet & Jerry) and his beloved son Shawn. Blair will be deeply missed by Rita, his wife of 62 years, his children Brad (Karen), Brenda (Reg), Bruce (Naiomi), his grandchildren Courtnay, Keara, Matthew and Mateo as well as many relatives and friends.

Prior to enjoying his retirement years, Blair had a very successful and fast-paced professional life. During his years at Crown Life, he rose to a senior leadership position for Canadian sales operations based out of Toronto. After endless business trips and numerous awards, Blair retired from the insurance business and took an active role in the community and Catholic Parish Councils. He was always ready to provide support and mentorship to family and friends. His guidance and sage advice will live on for future generations.

Blair will be remembered for his sense of humour, love for his family and friends, and his larger than life presence. Blair was a fighter and relentlessly battled through his medical issues - he has earned a well-deserved rest in the comfort of our loving heavenly Father.
