Peter John Bushby

Peter was predeceased by his loving wife Norma Bushby of 58 years in 2025. Beloved Father to Robert and Kimberley Bushby, loved Grandpa to Justin and Amy Becker.

Dad enjoyed the music of Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, and Celine Dion. He liked watching classic films on TCM. He also liked *Columbo*, *Perry Mason*, and the *All in the Family* TV series. Dad loved wrestling from a young age and became involved himself, even appearing in the "lutte moderne" book published in Montreal 1957. When Dad met and shook hands with "André the Giant" he couldn't get over the size of his hand! Dad was also a big Toronto Maple Leafs fan.

Dad lived a very active life and was a dedicated member of the YMCA for over 60 years! He never missed his daily walks, no matter the weather, he would even carry an umbrella to chase away the birds—a fear of his—as they protected their nests whenever he happened to walk by. Dad spent a lot of time with family down by the water on one of his many walks. He loved his afternoon coffee at the local shops and also enjoyed some chocolate for his evening dessert.

Dad will always live on in our hearts until we can all be together again, for eternity.

Revelation 21:4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.
