Though Randy didn’t prioritize school, he was a hard worker from a young age, often holding multiple jobs at a time. He found a career at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria BC, working many long hours as a Housekeeper. He took pride in his work and made many friends along the way. He got married, became the father of three daughters and lived a life filled with family trips, school activities, multi-family BBQs and camping. Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in his thirties, he remained as active as he was able and was always there when someone needed him. He made sure his daughters got to and from soccer, softball, horseback riding, gymnastics, work and more, and put in his time picking them and their friends up from downtown after nights out during the “party phase”.
He is predeceased by his mother, Joy, and survived by his three daughters Heather, Jessica and Jodie, a grandpuppy, four grandkitties, a grandtortoise and a grandparrot. He also leaves behind many friends who mourn his loss deeply. In recent years, he became quite fond of feeding critters in the backyard, he will be missed by his deer, squirrels, juncos and quails.
