We had hoped to have more time with her but she has left many wonderful memories to look back on for those who survive her. Left behind to mourn are husband Ray, daughter Donna Cress (Jason), son Matthew Chamberlain (Rachelle), sisters Betty McFadgen (Bruce) and Wendy Berryman (Don) and brother Ian Richardson. Another sister, Joy, predeceased her by less than a week. Robyn will be especially missed by grandchildren Madison, Rowen and Stellan who thought Grani was the most special person in the whole world. Robyn maintained close ties with her numerous nieces and nephews and their children, and her loss will leave a huge gap in their lives.
The above picture was taken during a vacation safari on the Serengeti Plain in Tanzania. Robyn was doing her favorite thing, being out in the natural environment and watching wildlife, especially her beloved elephants.
Robyn’s remains will be cremated and placed in the Garden of Memories at First Memorial Funeral Services in Royal Oak. A memorial service will be held in the summer after the COVID lock-down ends and people can travel again.
