Sheila died peacefully on 2nd August at Luther Court, Victoria. Aged 84. She is pre-deceased by sisters Pat and Kath and sadly missed by sister Margaret. A dear sister-in-law to John. aunt to Helen (husband Jonathan), Sarah (husband Richard) and Jane (husband Paul); great aunt to Laura, Paddy, Matt, Tom, Frances, Joe, Rachel, Mary and Billy; Sheila was born in Bolton, England, in later years moving to Canada. Among her many occupations, she became an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, also taking her nursing skills to many locations within British Columbia and the Middle East. Sheila welcomed the company of friends and relatives – providing hospitality to visitors from Canada or Europe. Also having time for swimming, sailing, hiking and, occasionally, ski-ing. Sadly missed by friends both sides of the Atlantic. Special thanks to those close friends who were with Sheila in her final months; thanks also to Luther Court staff for their care.
