It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Yvonne Dyson on February 27, 2021 in Victoria BC.
Mom was born in Manitoba on October 25, 1936 and moved to Victoria in 1956.
Preceded by husband George (1980); longtime partner Cliff Smith (2006); Father and Mother, Wilfred and Ruby Dickson. She leaves her loving family, Son Shawn Dyson; Daughter-in-Law Verna; special granddaughters Jessica and Lesslie Dyson, also Cliff’s family Cathy, Bob, Calvin and Shannon Parker, Cam, Jalen and Braden Smith; Sister Arlie (Lyle) Robertson; Brother Marvin (Trudy) Dickson; Sister-in-Law Mary Fedorowich; many nieces, nephews and many good friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Victoria hospice would be greatly appreciated. At mom’s request, there will be no service.
