Predeceased by his wife Mary and son Phillip, Stan is survived by his son Tim Francis and daughter Louise Parker (Bill) and grandchildren Aaron, Laura, Rob, Dan, Jamie, Steve and Kate as well as 10 great-grandchildren. A loving husband and father, Stan was born in England, and immigrated to Canada after serving in the British army in World War II. Stan raised his family in Crofton before moving to Victoria upon his retirement from the Crofton Mill. Stan's family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Mt St Mary Hospital who cared for him so compassionately for many years. A graveside service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM .
