In his younger years Stewart, also known by most as Scottie, worked for ten years on the famous ship "Princess Marguerite" which travelled between Victoria and Seattle back in the day.
After that he pursued his passion for craft beer. He loved to talk about it and got involved in his sales and marketing career for a number of breweries in British Columbia until he retired.
Hockey was his passion and he was the duffer king at the Oak Bay Recreation Center for over 40 years.
He was born in Ontario on 27 January 1950 and grew up in Barrie, Ontario
He is survived by Wendy Shaw, who was his partner for 22 years; Florence Margaret McLellan-Coulter, his sister and only sibling; his two nieces, Jordan Margaret McLellan-Coulter and Samantha Lee McLellan-Coulter and their 3 children.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 25 at 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at St. Stephen's Anglican Church 7921 St. Stephens Road (just off Mt Newton X Road).
A truly unique man.
