Vera Hall Vickers, formally Sandbrook, nee Acres, born near Vernon, Ontario on August 14, 1918, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2018 in Delta, BC.
She was an adventurous person, who loved travel; meeting all challenges with energy and vigour.
Married twice, she was predeceased by the love of her life, Kenneth Sandbrook, later finding joy again in her marriage to Randy Vickers. She was also predeceased by Ernest and Edith Acres, by four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, mainly residing in Ontario, Stepchildren and step-grandchildren from both marriages.
One of Vera’s proudest accomplishments was her time in New York, working for William Stephenson during WWII. She had a life well lived.
