Walter was a police colleague during my career with the Victoria Police Department.  Later, we reconnected through membership in the International Police Association.  When he wasn't in Portugal, he'd come for coffee at JJ Morgan's restaurant, where we met monthly.  He always enjoyed the camaraderie, and the other members enjoyed his company.
On behalf of all the members of the International Police Association Region 13 Vancouver Island and Chris Barratt President of IPA Canada, I extend my condolences to the Craveiro family on the loss of their loved one, Walter.
