Known for her tenacious spirit, strength and determination, Mom/Nana/Mar passed after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents and her husband of 42 years, Marilyn leaves behind her devoted partner and friend Herb Strandberg, sister Jacquie (Brian) Bennett, children Deb (Steve) Godfrey, Doug (Tracey) Johns, grandchildren Graeme (Morgan), Paige (Cam), Cole (Katie), her cherished greats Finley, Blake and Lennon and many loving family and friends.
When not knitting, quilting or crafting, Mom was busy volunteering, wandering the malls or enjoying the company of family and friends.
