

Albert W. Harrison, Jr, 88, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014. He was born January 10, 1926 in Victoria, Texas to the late Albert W. and Christine Harrison. He was a devout Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Victory Cathedral. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and Knights of Saint Gregory. He was a managing partner of Harrison, Waldrop and Uherek until his retirement.
He is survived by daughter, Judy C. Harrison and son, John A. Harrison and wife Joni; grandsons, John Albert Harrison, Jr. (Jordan), Jordan Schoen Harrison (Heather) and Joshua G. DeLosSantos; granddaughters, Jaclyn Marie DeLosSantos and Ashlyn Grace DeLosSantos; and great grandson, Rhone Henry Harrison; brother, James Harrison (Gladys); sisters, Jean Payne, Nancy Albrecht (Rawley), Gail Anderson (George) and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred M. Neuvar Harrison and sisters, Sue Greive and Kay Barncord.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 5 to 7 pm, followed by a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm, Colonial Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am, Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral with Bishop David E. Fellhauer and Rev. Patrick Knippenberg officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be his five grandchildren, John Harrison, Jr., Jordan Harrison, Jaclyn DeLosSantos, Joshua DeLosSantos, Ashlyn DeLosSantos and Russell Trask.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Victory Cathedral “Eternally We Build” Foundation or Alzheimer’s Association.
