Her devoted love for her husband of 58 years and for her family, children and grandchildren was her highest priority. Her great smile, warm, compassionate spirit and the special care she gave to all were an inspiration to her family and friends. She was someone you went to for an opinion, guidance or when you needed someone to listen. She was always available when you needed her most, with calmness and strength. She was a great cook, loved sewing, and spending time with friends. She was always a step ahead, taking care of the details and was lovingly teased about being so organized. She had many dear friends that were important in her life and she treasured their time over coffee or lunch.
Long after her professional nursing career ended, she continued to take care of her friends and family. Her caring spirit of helping others proved to be a great example for her children when she herself would need their care. She will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched.
We want to acknowledge the compassionate care provided by Dr. Frank Parma, Dr. Robin Adams and her caregivers Celeste Moreno, Andrea Contreras, Kristina Garcia, Mary Garcia, Helen Cuellar and Ashlee Longoria.
