Anna Pearl Carter, 82, of Victoria entered eternal life on Friday, March 23, 2018. She was born February 1, 1936 in Yoakum, TX to Matthew and Gladys McMurray Kveton. Anna was married to Franklyn Carter on July 31, 1955. Anna was a loving housewife, mother, mother in law and grandmother. She enjoyed time with family and friends, was involved in her church youth ministry, choir, Sunday school and other activities. She worked many years for Crafts Etc., and was a volunteer at DeTar Navarro Hospital.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynann Carter of Victoria; son, Delton (Tammy) Carter of Houston; brother, Pat (Mara Beth) Kveton of Yoakum; and two grandchildren, Austin (Andrea) Carter and Alyssa Carter.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her husband, Franklyn Carter, after 53 years of marriage.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Baptist Temple on Laurent from 9:00-11:00 am with the funeral service to begin at 11:00 am with Rev. J.V. Helms, Rev. Johnny Wilson and Rev. David Hudson officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Yoakum.
The family would like to thank the many family and friends for their prayers, visits and support. They would also like to thank the nurses and staff of Citizens Hospital and PAM LTC and Rehab for their loving and diligent care.
Pallbearers will be Daryl Gilbreath, Alan Turner, James Andres, Keith Kveton, Neil Anderson, Otis Linam, Austin Carter and David Norman.
Honorary pallbearers are Randy Humphries, Milton Neitsch, Trey Neitsch, Jonathan Arterberry, Chase Janssen, Brandon Janssen, Jerry Jimmerson and Steven Zimmer.
