She was born on February 16, 1981, in Victoria, Texas to Gary Edward Carville and Paula Jean Crow Carville. She was married to Mark Ryan Greenawalt on March 4, 2023.
April graduated from Victoria High School in 1999.
April enjoyed hanging out with her friends and family, fishing, and doing puzzles.
Those who knew April best said she had a “heart of gold”, that she was “giving”, “compassionate”, and “much loved”. On the other hand, she was described as “tough”, “hardworking”, and fiercely protective of those she loved.
All those descriptions are true, but they can’t begin to capture what April meant to those who knew and loved her.
April’s life transcended what can be captured in an obituary. The meaning and purpose of our lives are defined by our relationships with God and with each other. April made our lives so much richer.
In her death, we sense the magnitude of what we have lost and are filled with grief. But we also see, that in our love for April, we have all been drawn, through the pain and emotion, closer together as a family.
We are filled with gratitude that God, the author of life, gave us April to enrich and enhance our lives, bringing us closer to each other and to Him
