Arthur Dean Rader passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 88. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Colonial Funeral Home from 5-7pm, with a Rosary beginning at 7pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 12 2025 at 10am at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Adrian Ybarra, Paul Canales, Geneva Canales, Christian Morales, Mariah Morales and Ryland Rodriguez.
Arthur was born in Webster County, West Virginia on August 2, 1937 to the late Lewis Rader and Ruth Rader. He was a veteran of the Korea and Vietnam Wars. He was retired from the United States Air Force with 20 years of service. He also retired after 17 years with Cannelton Coal Company in Montgomery, West Virginia. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His whole world was his family. He committed his whole life to them. He was a great fisherman and great friend. He enjoyed camping and traveling. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his son, Arthur Rader, Jr.; daughter, Linda Canales; grandchildren, Adrian Ybarra, Geneva Canales, Paul Canales, William Rader and Tommy Rader; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Vivian Greene, Bonnie Coleman, Brenda Green (Larry) and Debbie Fontalbert (Greg); and numerous nieces and nephews.
