Bobby Gene Ross Sr.

After working at Texas Concrete Company for 45 years, he retired and enjoyed his time in the country, surrounded by open land and the horses he deeply loved. He was known for expressing his love through laughter and jokes, turning ordinary moments into laughter-filled memories. Though God called him home, his spirit remains in the rolling fields. A life lived humbly, faithfully, and close to his creation.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 54 years, Alice M. Williams Ross; daughter, Tiffany Ross; son, Kevin Ross (Kathryn); sister, Birdie Ross; brother, Preston Ross (Kimberly); grandchildren, Ashlie Ashby (Daniel), Taliah Ross, Adam Ross, Devin Ross, Destinee Ross, Zahria Ross (Isiah), Zaina Ross; great-grandchildren, Kasyn, Kolsyn, Emmanuel, Elia, Luca, Camden, and Salem.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Bobby G. Ross Jr.; grandson, Garrett Ross; brothers, Leslie Ross Jr., Leo Ross Sr., Alfred Ross and sisters, Barbara Littles and Debra Ross-Torrey.

A funeral service will be held, Monday, January 12, 2026, at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, 704 E. Park. Victoria, TX. Visitation is from 9am-11am, with a service to follow.
