So many memories growing up in Austwell-Tivoli and Mr. Edge was a huge part of that experience. He was my teacher, boy scout troop leader, mentor and friend. He touched many lives in his life and still to this day I know people who refer to him as "Mr. Edge" out of sheer respect and awe. My condolences to the family and all my prayers.

I am deeply sorry to hear about Mr. Edge's passing. If there was ever a man who was devoted to his Boy Scouts and his students, it was Carroll Edge. I was fortunate enough to have him for a science teacher on two different occasions; both of those classes were great learning experiences. He could tell the best stories. I often think of him as I face my university classes and try to inspire them as he did me so many years ago.

I know his family has many good memories to hold on to and comfort them. May the grace and peace of Christ sustain and comfort you in the days ahead.

Blessings,
