

Dolores Agnes Brandt Baker, 90, entered into the eternal rest on Monday, April 25, 2016. She was born April 1, 1926 in Meyersdale, TX. to Walter L. and Annie Teschendorf Brandt. She was the second oldest daughter from a family of 4 boys and 5 girls. At the age of 2 yrs. old she suffered with polio and was left with a disability. However, she did not let this disability define her. Instead it became a determination and strength that brought her more success than was expected in her lifetime.
She married the love of life Elza Baker, Jr. on November 18, 1942. They shared 51 years until his’s death in March 1993. She was predeceased by one daughter, Delores Diane in August, 1946.
Delores was a member of First English Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school and was a member of Esther Circle. She loved playing straight dominions, 42 and gin.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (Donald T.) Angerstein and Donna (Clarence F., Jr.) Heinold of Victoria. She is survived by her grandchildren; Brian (Bridget) Heinold, Mark (Jodie) Heinold of Victoria, Darrell (Melissa) Heinold of Gulf Breeze, FL, Melissa Hanselman of Victoria and Randall Angerstein of Spring, TX. She is survived by her great grandchildren, Brandon (Lucy) Richards, Sheldon (Danelle) Heinold, Cody (Casey) Henneke, Jacob Heinold, Dakota Heinold, Peyton Heinold, Addison Hanselman of Victoria and Aubrey Angerstein of Spring, TX and Bradley Taliaferro of Austin. She is survived by her great-great grandchildren, Blaine, DeLainey, and EmmaLynn Heinold and McKenize Martinez of Victoria.
The family would like to thank the staff and nurses for the care mother received at Twin Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. We would like to thank her many doctors for their care. We would like to thank Hospice of Victoria for their care.
A visitation will be held at Rosewood Funeral Chapels on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Rosewood Funeral Chapel on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Memory Gardens on Hwy 87. Officiating will be Rev. Jim Pearson.
Pallbearers will be her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
