

Doris Dunaway Kleiber, 84, of Victoria passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015. Doris was born July 21, 1930 in Caldwell to the late John and Joyce Pearson Dunaway. She was a graduate of Industrial High School. She was active in the community as a volunteer at Citizens Medical Center. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Cathedral, the Catholic Daughters, Civilian Police Alumni, the American Legion Auxiliary, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Sons of Hermann.
Survivors include her sisters, Johnnie Murphy and Marie Simper; and a brother, David Dunaway all of Victoria; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Erskine Kleiber; sisters, Laura Leake and Mattie Florence Dunaway; brothers, James Dunaway, Robert Dunaway, Thomas Dunaway and Charles Dunaway.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am Friday, June 12, 2015 at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral, Rev. Gary Janak officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Martignoni, Shawn Wilke, Bob Murphy, Taylor Urban, Jason Svetlik and Wacey Wilke.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Armando Diaz, Arnold Donaho and Stayton Flowers.
Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Victory Building Fund or the Arthritis Foundation.
