She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Childress, of Seadrift; grandchildren, Cathy Clare, and husband, Gary of Dallas, George Scott Myers and wife, Eryn, of Houston, and Melissa Terrell of Houston; great-grandsons, Samuel Clare, Hayden Terrell and Brendan Terrell.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, George Myers; sons, George Myers, Jr., and Jack E. Myers; brothers, Carl Eckhardt and Jack Eckhardt.
A memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at 3:00 p.m, Rev. Chris Johnson officiating.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of South Texas or Grace Lutheran Church Sunday School.
