Elmer Dean Lewis Jr., 49, of Victoria, passed away on March 22, 2025. Dean was born September 29, 1975, in Victoria to the late Donna Nell Smith and Elmer Dean Lewis Sr.

Dean is survived by his wife, Erin Blackmon Lewis; sisters, Deanna Delgado (Gilbert) of Inez, Angela Berkovsky (Chad) of Shiner, Rachael Albrecht (Glenn) of Victoria; aunt, Jean Marie Macha (Charlie) of Wallis; uncle, Keith Smith (Betty) of Cedar Park; of; nephew, Ryan Berkovsky; nieces, Emily Berkovsky, Jamie Delgado (Arvin) and great-nephews, Logan Delgado and Kanon Smith and step-mother, Frances Lewis. Many brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces in Christ.

Dean is preceded in death by his parents.

Dean excelled in many ways in his life. He was intelligent, kind, loving and generous. His love of music was shared with his family and friends growing up. And then by taking the stage throughout the area for several years. He loved hunting and fishing. And was, still is, loved by many.

A Celebration of Dean’s Life will be Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 10 am at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Inez with Pastor Tim Williams officiating. In lieu of a graveside service there will be a fellowship to continue the celebration, hosted by very close friends. Location details will be shared at the ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
