

Ernest Innocenti, 85, of Victoria passed away on Monday, December 26, 2011 in San Antonio. He was born August 18, 1926 in Victoria, TX to the late Charles Innocenti Sr. and Erminia Zandonatti Innocenti.
He was the owner of Ideal Aluminum Siding and Roofing Company and a rancher. Ernest was a very active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, serving on the building committee for 18 years. He was instrumental in construction of St. Mary’s Activity Center, was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and was past vice-president of the Father’s Club of St. Josephs High School.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Olsovsky Innocenti; daughter, Debra Innocenti and husband, Roger Alvarez of San Antonio; sons, Richard Innocenti and wife, Carla of Victoria, Charles Innocenti and wife, Cheryl of Canyon Lake, TX; sisters, Alice Zeplin and Mary Ann Hyak; brothers, Anthony Innocenti, James Innocenti and Charles Innocenti, Jr. all of Victoria; six grandchildren, Matthew Innocenti, Amy Innocenti Erdelt, Julie Innocenti, Bradley Innocenti, Sayrah Ayn Innocenti and Korey Schroeder and two great-grandchildren, David James Innocenti and Karsyn Makena Erdelt.
A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Mausoleum with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council.
Pallbearers will be Bradley Innocenti, Matthew Innocenti, Steve Zeplin, Mike Adames, Wayne Innocenti, James Bednorz and Doug Strnadel.
