Estella Vianes Perez, 93, of Victoria, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born October 8, 1931, in Victoria, Texas, to Matthew and Pauline Bosquez Vianes.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Estella lived a life grounded in faith, family, and love. Her nurturing heart, steady presence, and quick wit touched everyone who had the joy of knowing her. She had a gift for making others feel welcome and always seemed to have the right advice at just the right time. Her warmth, humor, and wisdom will be deeply missed.
Estella was an honors graduate of Corpus Christi State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Development. Her passion for helping others extended into a diverse and meaningful career.
She served as a quality manager at American Bosch in Columbus, Mississippi, and later worked as a food service manager at Minot Air Force Base in Minot, North Dakota, and at Bergstrom Air Force Base in Austin, Texas. Upon returning to Victoria, she continued her commitment to children and families by serving as a counselor for the YMCA, Children’s Baptist Center, and Gulf Bend Center. Her dedication to service, compassion, and community upliftment was a reflection of her generous heart.
She is survived by her sons, Paul Perez, Robert (Laurie) Perez, Michael (Delilah) Perez, and Matthew (Jo Ann) Perez; her daughter-in-law, Gwen Perez; her brother, David Vianes; and her many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were a constant source of pride and joy.
Estella is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Noe Perez Sr,; her cherished son, Noe Perez Jr.; and her brother, Matthew Vianes. Though she has left this world, the legacy of her love will continue in the countless lives she touched.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Rosewood Funeral Home in Victoria. Family and friends are invited to come together in remembrance and celebration of her life.
