Frances Huerta Gonzales

Frances Huerta Gonzales, 71, of Victoria passed away November 6, 2024 in Austin. She was born in Victoria on May 27, 1953 to Juan Cortez Huerta and Georgia Sanchez Huerta. Frances was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She cherished spending time with family, whether it was though her cooking, cleaning, or simply being present to share in the joys and challenges of daily life. Above all, she was a prayer warrior and a woman of deep faith, whose strength and devotion inspired all who knew her. Frances was an active member of Centro De Alabanza Church.

She is survived by her husband, Juan M. Gonzales; sons, Ruben Lee Gonzales (Mary), Jacob Gonzales (Carrie), Isaac Gonzales, Abraham Gonzales (Andrea); sisters, Trine Garcia, Janie Rodriguez, Rose Mary DeLeon, Lisa Garcia; brothers, Jose Huerta, Johnny Treviño, Bennie Huerta, Christopher Huerta, Jessie Huerta, Frank Huerta; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Eugenia Stuart; and brother, Joseph Albert Huerta.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 9 a.m. – 12noon at Centro De Alabanza at 1702 E. Juan Linn St. in Victoria followed by a Celebration of Frances’ Life at 12noon with Pastor Debra Cantu officiating.
