To the family of Gharold Woods,
Pete was a wonderful friend and a forgiving boss for me.  I needed a forgiving boss because I was a terrible employee.  I am very sorry about his passing.  I saw the article about Oakville in the Victoria paper.  I would love to talk to a family member if possible.  My number is 830-583-5110.  I stopped to see Pete and your mom in Colorado many years ago.  I treasure the time that we spent together.

Pete was not only my boss, but a good friend as well.  I was young and unruly when I worked for him.  I have become a little better as time has passed.  I miss Pete and his dad ( Carl) .

I was fortunate to meet Pete (and Jackie) through his daughter Pam Hovey. He was truly a one of a kind. Lots of memories of him. I found him to be a  very kind and compassionate man and always ready to laugh. Prayers for the families during this time!

Pete was my boss at Gulf Energy (Intrastate Gas Gathering) in the mid 70's.  Carl (Pete's Dad) worked at our car dealership in the 60's and 70's.  They were both treasured friends.  Pete was nice to me, even though I was a wild child in those years. Jackie was also a special friend.  My family and I stopped to see them in their Colorado home in the 80's where Pete advised me not to drive to Silverton that late evening.  Of course I ignored his advice and had a winding dangerous drive to Silverton.  I was able to visit with Pete at Jackie's service.  I tried to contact him recently, but I guess I didn't try hard enough.   I will treasure the memories of Pete and his family always.
