

Henry “Buster” Marthiljohni, 76, passed away Monday, December 20, 2010. He was born September 13,1934, in Cuero to the late Phil and Katie Heibel Marthiljohni. He graduated from St. Joseph High school and then served his country in the United States Navy. He was self-employed in the oilfield and as a rancher. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Buster is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Lillian Ward Marthiljohni of Victoria; sons, Jake (Wanda) Marthiljohni, James (Connie) Marthiljohni and John Marthiljohni all of Victoria; daughters, Theresa Marthiljohni of Winnie, Christine (Ben) Speer of Victoria; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Shelton of Victoria.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Carmon Marthiljohni.
A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at 7:00 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Thursday, December 23, 2010, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be J. T. Marthiljohni, Donnie Farek, Katie Farek, Mikey Harvell, B. J. Speer and Jace Speer.
Honorary pallbearers will be K. C. Jimerson, Todd Cunningham and Justin Tweedle.
