James O. Petrash

James reached the rank of an Eagle Scout and he served his country in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Petrash worked for 40 plus years as an accountant for Cameron Iron Works.

James is survived by his wife, Lynda Miller Petrash; his daughter and son-in-law Magen Underwood and Allen; and his son and daughter-in-law Travis Scott Petrash and Amy all of Cypress; his sister Margaret Ann Brownlee and his sister Patricia Merrill both of Victoria; his grandchildren Kolbie, Dylan, Mallory (in Heaven), Blake and Audrey.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Rosewood Funeral Chapels, 3304 Mockingbird Lane, Victoria, TX.

James will be laid to rest in Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8919 US Hwy 87 N, Victoria, TX.

Serving as pallbearers are Walter Merrill, Terry Merrill, Nicky Huff, Jason Huff, Justin Huff, Alan Strelec, Austin Strelec, Jerheme Urban, Caleb Urban and honorary pallbearer is Dylan Petrash.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in James' memory may be made to Rhonda Foreman Hooper 4-H Scholarship Fund, 528 Waco Circle, Victoria, TX 77904.

Celebration of life for James Petrash will be held Monday, January 16th at 1:30 pm at Cypress Methodist Church, 13403 Cypress N. Houston Road, Cypress, TX 77429
