Jeffrey V. Dorsett

Jeffrey V. (Jeff) Dorsett, 49, of Victoria passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012 in Victoria. He was born January 5, 1963, in Dallas, TX, to Janet Dorsett Wendt of Victoria and the late Vernon Dorsett. He was a 1981 graduate of Victoria High School and was self-employed.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Blandine Kilgore Dorsett of Victoria, daughter, Alyssa M. Dorsett of Victoria; sons, Jared J. Dorsett of Houston, Clayton P. Dorsett of Houston, Matthew E. Dorsett of Victoria; mother, Janet Dorsett Wendt of Victoria and a brother, James (Susan) Dorsett of Victoria and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his stepfather,

Dr. Don. Wendt and grandparents, Arthur Sandrin and Corinne Clifford.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 24, 2012, from 5-7 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.

The funeral mass will be Monday, June 25, 2012, at 10 am at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral with Msgr. Michael Harrold officiating. Private interment services will be held at a later date.

Pallbearers will be Jason Mikeska, Tommy Clark, Rowdy Ransom, Robert Hagel, Bennie Galvan and Larry Teague.
