Joyce Marie Walton, 84, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017. She was born December 3, 1932 in Victoria, Texas to the late William C. and Hattie B. Wehlmann Schustereit. Joyce worked for Dr. Owens, Optometrist; Beall’s Store and the VFW Post 4146.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and enjoyed her volunteer work with the VFW Auxiliary Unit 4146.
She is survived by her husband, Nathan O. Walton; her son, David Preiss; brother, Leslie (Sandy) Schustereit; her grandchildren, Jadrienne Preiss, Caleb Preiss, and Robbie Boissonneault; and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Nelson Preiss and Art Williams; and brother, Vernon Schustereit.
The family will hold a Visitation on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home.
Graveside Services will be held 10:00 am Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
