Survivors include her daughters, Shannon Pettey of Victoria, Carolyn (Terence) Anderson of Miami, Florida, and Kim Coonce of Omaha Nebraska; sister, Donna (Paul) Lyons of Iowa; brother, Roger (Mary) Briggs of Wisconsin; brother-in-law, Bill Hare of Iowa; four grandchildren, Michael, Louis, Rachael and Cristina and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Kari was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Hare.
A memorial service will be held at 6 PM, Friday, February 21, 2014 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with Rev. Patrick Knippenberg officiating.
