13, 1944 in Cuero, TX, and spent much of her life in Bloomington, Texas—a place she proudly called home with her husband Bobby.
Kathyrn was a woman shaped by trial, perseverance, and an unyielding determination to keep going. Life asked much of her, and she met each season with resilience and quiet strength. She loved deeply and fiercely, though trust was something she gave carefully—once broken, it was not easily restored. Even so, her devotion to her family never wavered. She valued conversations with friends and family over coffee, honest words spoken without pretense, and
late-night jokes bringing much laughter with her children as they grew older. Her grandchildren were a source of pride and meaning throughout her life.
Kathyrn’s life story included great love. She was preceded in death by her husband and enduring love, Bobby Lee Raven, and also by her first love, John Edward Tumlinson, both of whom held a significant place in her heart.
Above all, Kathyrn loved Jesus and rested in the promise of eternal life. Her family finds comfort in the assurance of Scripture:
“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life; the one who believes in Me will live, even if he dies.’” — John 11:25 (NASB)
Kathyrn was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Nettie Guenther; her brother Bobby Guenther; her sister Ruby Guenther; her sons Johnny Tumlinson, Allan Roach, and Steve Davis, Gary Raven; and her beloved great-granddaughter Jade Lozano.
She is survived by her daughters Kathy Davis of Encinal, Texas; Cheryl Campbell of Leander, Texas; Cindy Barefield of Victoria, Texas; and Lisa (Alan) Howard of Victoria, Texas. She also
leaves behind a large and loving legacy of grandchildren: Nikki (Justin), John (Anna), Kelly, Kim, Stephen, Kevin (Patricia), Tarrin (Dawson), Brian, Stephani, Dallis, Haeley, Brenna and greatgrandchildren Brooke, Jasalynn, Adrian, Jaedynn, Jasmine, Gavin, Alexandra, Athena, Peyton,Waylon, Anastasia, Jesus Allan, Zoey, and Bambino Davis, expected soon.
