

Kenneth attended Texas A & M and received a Marketing Degree. Kenneth worked with A.E.P. for over 35 years and retired as a District Manager. During his tenure with AEP, he served in the capacity as one of their Registered Lobbyist in Austin, in which he was very instrumental in getting the Nuclear Power Plan placed in Bay City. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and underwent some of the first atomic and nuclear bomb testing. Kenneth was an avid fisherman and hunter, he hunted up until his 85th birthday. He served as a past President of the South Texas Beefmasters Association.
Survivors include his sons, Kevin Collins (Lisa), Michael Collins and daughter, Debra Mikulenka; grandchildren, Connor, Alexis and Carter Collins, Kenneth (Hillary) Collins, Renee (Sebastian) Nienhuis, James and Justin Mikulenka, Ashley (Randy) Nelbert and Brittney Mikulenka; and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mildred Miller Collins.
A private family service will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
