Kenneth L. “Coach” Dismuke, 85, of Uvalde, passed away July 18, 2012. He was born October 26, 1026 in Plava, Texas to the late Luther Jackson and Mary F. Love Dismuke. Kenneth was a coach and teacher retiring from Southwest Texas Junior College and a member of The First United Methodist Church of Uvalde.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Debbie Horton and husband Bob of Victoria; a sister, Juanita Shields of Owasso, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Lindi Horton, Cody Horton and wife, Bianca and two great-grandchildren, Haley Horton and Carly Jo Horton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Johnie McDonald Dismuke and a son, Towner Dismuke.
A memorial service will be held 5 PM on August 2, 2012 at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 220 S. Getty Street in Uvalde, TX 78802 (830) 278-5611.
