

Lavelle DeLane “Monk” Farrior, 52, of Victoria, passed away November 13, 2015. He was born September 24, 1963 in Waynesboro, Mississippi to James Lester Farrior and the late Judith Elaine Jones. He graduated from Victoria High School in 1981 and worked for Delta/Nabors Drilling for 27 years. He was self-employed as a drilling consultant. He had a love for classic cars, guns, people, his family and The Texas Roadhouse.
He was survived by his father, James Lester Farrior of Waynesboro, Mississippi; step daughters, Sabrina Royer of College Station, Natalie Bilbo and Britney Bilbo both of Victoria; sisters, Dana Lynn Burford of Silas, Alabama and Felicia (Chris) Brown, of Dacula, Georgia; brothers, Shannon (Shirley) Farrior of Victoria and Darrell (Scarlett) Farrior of Ramsey Springs, Mississippi; nephew, Dakoda Farrior, Cole Burford, Preston and Lane Brown; and niece, Shaena Farrior; ten grandchildren; and one great niece and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his mother, step-father, Alvin Joseph Jones and nephew, Tadd Joseph Blanton.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm, Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, November 19, 2015, Colonial Funeral Home with Rev. Mickey Ewing officiating. Burial will follow at Wood Hi Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gregory Allen Turner, Stacy Cooper, Seth Cooper, Ernie Byrd, James Rosenquest, Stephen Seiler and Joshua Royer; honorary pallbearers are Kamri and Braedyn Farrior.
