Linda Sue Junker

Linda Sue Junker, age 78, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025. She was born on November 3, 1947, to Isabelle Van Beveren and the late August Van Beveren. Linda attended elementary school in Westhoff and graduated from Cuero High School in 1966. On August 31, 1967, she married Chris Allen Junker. Before retiring, Linda sold office supplies and worked for Reeses Printing in Gonzales and Standard Printing in Seguin. Her hobbies included sewing and crafting.

She is survived by her mother, Isabelle Van Beveren, daughters Lisa Lehnert (Kourtney) and Balinda Malaer (Brian), sisters Elaine Kopecky (Mike), Jean Tomanec, and Tabeth Gardner, and brother Morres Van Beveren (Nadine). Grandchildren Matthew Fortenberry, Denise Meador (Thomas), Madalynn Lehnert, Trent Malaer, Kailyn Chilek (Chris), and Travis Malaer. Great-grandchildren Chloe Malaer and Kason Chilek.

In addition to her father, Linda was preceded in death by an infant son, Ervin Allen Junker, her husband, Chris Allen Junker, brothers-in-law Russell Gardner and John Tomanec.

Honoring her by serving as pallbearers are Kourtney Lehnert, Brian Malaer, Trent Malaer, Travis Malaer, Chris Chilek, and Kyle Fortenberry.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Hospice of South Texas and His Safe Harbor, Del and Amanda, for the loving and compassionate care their mother received.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 10 -11 AM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, with burial immediately following at Westoff Cemetery.
