Linda loved to play cards and was known to dabble a bit in gambling when she could. She loved to cook and bring everyone together for the holidays. She adored her grandchildren and loved to spend time with them. She had a soft spot for “Lulu” the donkey, who would wait for her snacks from Linda.
Linda also had an unwavering commitment for volunteer work, from working with the Red Cross, to being a secretary for over 20 years with the Lone Tree Volunteer Fire Department and being a valued employee with Crossroads Area Veteran Center. Linda had a kind spirit and touched the lives of so many and her contributions to the community was immeasurable.
Linda is survived by her sons, Bradley May (Lacy) of Victoria, Brian May (Christina) of Port Lavaca; sisters, Brenda Duval (Larry) of Cuero, Janet Aguilar of Victoria, Susie Johnson (Chris) of Victoria and her 9 grandchildren who she adored.
She is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Johnson.
Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, Feb 2, 2025 from 4-6 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.
Funeral Services will be Monday, February 3, 2025 at 10 AM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with burial to immediately follow at Nursery Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Oscar Pulido, Josh Williams, Lee Bowman, Rex Mayes, Corey Tucker and Richard Castillo.
