

Loren Paul Ryon, 87, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017. He served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marines during the Korean War. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, member of Pairs & Spares Sunday School Class in Victoria, Texas and a member of the Victoria Woodcarvers Association.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 67 years, Doris McKinney Ryon; daughter, Marsha (Bill) Bommer of Victoria, Texas; sons, Garry (Cheryl) Ryon of Midland, Texas, Mark (Gail) Ryon of Victoria, Texas, and Steven (Sandra) Ryon of Boling, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Genevieve Ryon, and grandsons, Ryon Bommer and Jeffrey Ryon.
The family will hold a visitation from 10 to 11 am at First United Methodist Church followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 30, 2017. Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers are Mark Ryon, David Ryon, Steve Ryon, Jimbo Warren, James Rogers, and Bill Bommer.
