

Lucino Flores Salazar, 54, of Victoria passed away, April 11, 2013. He was born February 19, 1959, in Tulcigo, Puebla, Mexico, to the late Alfonso and Maria Esther Salazar. One of Lucino’s proudest moments was when he became a United States citizen. Lucino was a former pastor, preacher and evangelist. He worked in the bakery at the HEB in Victoria and was also employed by Hunan’s and Kohls. He was a member of IPUH.
He is survived by his wife Margaret; daughter, Abigail; sons, Johnathan and Joshua; brothers, Sebastian and Juan. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Esther Salazar, and a brother, Nereo Salazar.
A time of visitation will be held from 5 to 8 pm Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Visitation will resume at 2 pm Sunday, April 14, 2013, at the Iglesia Pentecostal Unida Ispana with a prayer service to begin at 6 pm.
Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, April 15, 2013, at the Resurrection Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Salazar, Johnathan Salazar, Abigail Salazar, Chevito Garcia III, Carlos Parras, Abraham Puentes, Jesse Alvarez, Sebastian Salazar, Robert Guerra Leo Valencia and Desediero Duarte. Honorary pallbearers will be David Acludia, Pastor Valencia, Juan Salazar, Sebastian Castan, Maurico Torres, Alvarado Alvarez, Fidencio Andrade and Carlos Jaramillo.
