Luella R. Mueller

Luella R. Mueller, 88, of Victoria passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016. She was born in Gonzales on July 13, 1927 to William and Helen Krause Tieken. She was a secretary for VISD for 30 years before she retired. Mrs. Mueller enjoyed china painting, being outdoors traveling with her late husband, Neal and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Jabbour of Victoria; son, Bobby Mueller and wife, Peggy of Victoria; brother, Roland Tieken of Cuero; three grandchildren, Tiffany (David) Seale, Crystal (Rodney) Mayo and Amber (Kevin) Roehl; and seven great grandchildren..

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mueller was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Mueller in 2004; two brothers, Edmund and Herbert Tieken and a great granddaughter, Kamri Elizabeth.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 5-7 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be 10 am on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church with Rev. John Waak officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers are David Seale, Kevin Roehl, Rodney Mayo, John Tieken, Herb Tieken and Kenneth Tieken.

Our family would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Armando Diaz, Mrs. Allison Montez, Mrs. Mary Esther Alvarado and the nurses and staff of Hospice of South Texas for the wonderful care and attention given to our mother.
