My Sunday school teacher. At least 3 generations can make that claim. A true saint, who will missed and remembered warmly.

My first preaching position was with the Bloomington Church of Christ. Luther and Margie were neighbors and blessed our lives with love and kindness during the short time we were in Bloomington. Luther gave me a love for raising chickens which I continue to this day. We recall many meals around the Lumpkin's table, as well. Margie's cooking was well known in that community. Both Luther and Margie were tremendous spiritual leaders and examples of faith to us and to their family. We are saddened to hear of their passing. May God bless the Lumpkins family as you grieve her passing.
We love you,
