The family will gather for a Visitation from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Andrew Theriot officiating. Burial will be held at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
Lucille was born in Paxton, Texas to the late Joseph Huey Emanus and Lacey Lucille Curtis Emanus on June 2, 1932. She married Thomas Cartwright on October 10, 1973 in Sugarland, Texas. Lucille owned and managed a Houston-based asphalt company for 15 years, and owned and managed LuLu’s resale shop in several Victoria locations from 1994 through late 2018. She joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1994.
Lucille is survived by her husband, Thomas; sons, Joseph Cartwright, Albert Wilson and Phillip Wilson; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Patricia Ann Claybrook.
