

Milton Lott, Jr., 68, of Victoria, passed away surrounded by his family on September 12, 2016. Milton was born in Francitas, TX, November 24, 1947 to the late Milton Lott Sr. and Irene Grant Lott. Milton worked for Alcoa as a welder and a maintenance supervisor and retired after 32 years. His biggest joy was his grandkids and the love he had for them. Milton also enjoyed fishing, cooking bbq, yard work and liked to make jokes and make his family smile.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda Ann Taylor Lott; daughters, Melinda Ware and husband, Kevin of Victoria, Melanie (James) Lott of El CaJon, CA; sister, Mable Hodge and husband, Quincy of DeSoto, TX; brother, Oscar Lott and wife, Babex of Lancaster, TX; aunt, Inez Green of Victoria; uncle, JR (Easter Mae) Grant of Houston; grandchildren, Trevin, Kaiya and Mar’Treylin Ware
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Melba Lott and brother, Victor “Pop” Lott.
A visitation for family and friend will be held Friday, September 16, 2016 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels from 6-8 PM.
A Celebration of Milton’s life will be held Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Peter’s Baptist Church. Pastor Kevin Van-Hook will be officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery with full military honors.
Honorary pallbearers will be F.W. Gross Class of 66’.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Peter’s Baptist Church Building Fund.
