I guess I've known Richard 30+ years, and have always counted him as a friend.  Spent so many evenings at his place playing scrabble, grilling something, drinking beers and playing foosball.  
My condolences to all of the family, especially to Melissa.  May he rest in peace!

There just are enough words … i remember Richy from high school years, hanging out with his sisters . He was so energetic and comical. A few years ago I had the good fortune to visit with him at his sister’s, catching up on our lives and share some laughs and was pleased to see that he hadn’t changed much. I think I’ll always remember him laughing. 
My sincere and heartfelt sympathy to all of his family.


Richard was a very sweet man who adored his daughter Mellissa, son-in-law Arin and their 2 sons Abel and Asa. We are very glad we got to know him and spend the holidays together.  Sending you all our love and deepest condolences.

Richard was a long time friend and neighbor.
He was always friendly and would welcome you to come sit on the patio for a visit.
He was my Go To, Buddy when I needed a friendly ear.    He would invite me to sit down , have a beer and talk about what was going on in our daily lives.
My last visit afew weeks ago were about our medical problems. 
I am so very sad to learn that he took a turn for the worst and passed.
Richard was a friend of many years and will be greatly missed.

Richard was a kind and thoughtful man. I'll always remember receiving the bag of pecans he sent us.  We enjoyed them very much.  Spending time with him at Thanksgiving was also a wonderful time. He will be missed by many. 

I have a lot of memories with Richard.  He was a good man that would help anyone when he could.  We took many trips to Padre Island and had an awesome time every time….even when he had to crawl under his truck on the ferry to get it started.  Lol.  Had some nice evenings sitting outside just talking about life.  He was very special to me and always will carry his memory with me.  

A good man and friend, May his journey be peaceful. 

Good memories of Richard coming into ARNOLD OIL COMPANY and buying parts an oils.  He will be missed here by all of us who waited on him. Very bright man. Rest in Peace friend.

I was sad to hear about Richard’s passing. I did not know him well but will always remember him for being Mellissa’s dad and for bringing such a wonderful person into this world. My condolences.

Richard definitely will be missed by all that knew him. He was a great asset at work and had a great sense of humor. Richard  always took the time out to talk and  was really good at it! 

Really sorry to hear this , Richard & i worked together at CSI shop in victoria. Richard was a very smart guy when  it came to machanical work. I enjoyed working with him. Their was never a dull moment working with him. He loved to talk & tell korney jokes. I'll miss him as i'm sure all of us will. RIP my friend.
