

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-1946 and was honorably discharged. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a major in Chemistry in late January 1951. On January 27, 1951, he married Norma Jean Koch. He then went to work for Harding & Parker Drug Store as their Pharmacist. In the 1960’s, Bob & Jean owned a pharmacy in Woodsboro, Texas then in 1970 purchased one in Marlin, Texas. After moving back home to Victoria, Bob worked as a relief Pharmacist around town but predominately at Harding & Parker.
Besides work, he loved the game of golf, U.T. Longhorn football and was an avid reader.
He is survived by his children, Cindy Hudler of San Antonio, Wayne Hudler of Austin, Susan Hudler of Port O’Connor and Tommy Hudler of Victoria; and grandchildren, Taylor Hudler of Austin and Alyssa Hudler of Cypress.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Jean, in 2011.
Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.
